Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Branden Shelton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by K.F TIRANA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Strömberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Aston Villa FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Strömberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton did a great save. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merrill Pryor in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Aston Villa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Dalkvist to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nils-Åke Gunnarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branden Shelton was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Filiph Hägg made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cristoforo De Luca sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Merrill Pryor in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branden Shelton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute Tim Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to K.F TIRANA getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aurel Simaku hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Strömberg in the 69th minute of play forced K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Aston Villa FC's Joel Strömberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 84th minute of the match, Coronel Durango got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filiph Hägg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Merrill Pryor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in K.F TIRANA's zone, Merrill Pryor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branden Shelton came out of the goal and Merrill Pryor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
