An unexpectedly hard shot by 洪振义 in the 17th minute of play forced 『盛世メ名門』随遇而安's goalkeeper Agnaldo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Winfield made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 王城骋 in the 66th minute of the match. If 王城骋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Carlisle United's goal looked a bit too open when 王城骋 came free, but Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, 王城骋 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan. Carlisle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 王城骋 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 『盛世メ名門』随遇而安's 沈超凡 was substituted for 王城骋. 沈超凡 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 沈超凡 in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute 沈超凡 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, 『盛世メ名門』随遇而安's 沈超凡 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 沈超凡's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 沈超凡 in the 94th minute of play forced Carlisle United's goalkeeper Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlisle United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
