Valdomiro Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Frankowski in the 21st minute of play. If Constancio Jaque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zhang Hong Xun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Figueiredo in the 28th minute of play. Montalcino SE were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Tabalongo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonardo de Godoi took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in João Adolfo de Souza heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 38th minute Nicolas Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hong Xun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Espiridion in the 38th minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Tabalongo AFC's Filip Frankowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdomiro Ferraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 46 played minutes Tabalongo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Yerko Van Dijk. The supporters of Montalcino SE booed when Tabalongo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomo De la Fuente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montalcino SE's Leonardo de Godoi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zhang Hong Xun but with some difficulty. After the first half Tabalongo AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Espiridion was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Almir Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hong Xun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Almir Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zhang Hong Xun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Filip Frankowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabalongo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Frankowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdomiro Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhang Hong Xun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constancio Jaque got free with Valdomiro Ferraz in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dino Nicolini scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhang Hong Xun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tabalongo AFC's Marciano Asmussen was substituted for Filip Frankowski. Tabalongo AFC made a substitution. Binjamin Ketelers replaced Max Vinkens. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dario Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Dino Nicolini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
