Robby Woody who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Olle Mellberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Robby Woody lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Olle Mellberg. The audience was convinced that Robby Woody's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olle Mellberg was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Francisco Alberto Zañartu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Olle Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwan Grocholski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Skröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to La Academia getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Saul Goodman hit a great ball. When Robby Woody, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Olle Mellberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robby Woody got free with Olle Mellberg in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robby Woody stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Holmgren came free, but Iwan Grocholski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Väderstad FK's August Granström to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Grocholski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th minute La Academia were awarded a corner. Maxín Bacarreza went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led La Academia's Robby Woody to a score. 5-0 in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Edvin Holmgren took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Iwan Grocholski to make any attempt to save it. Iwan Grocholski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robby Woody in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Mellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, La Academia's Iwan Grocholski got control of the ball when Oskar Skröder tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Academia's Eric Sillén got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Olle Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Woody in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the La Academia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
