Carlos Romero made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Esteve Barto sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, 刘飞翔 made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Mateo. Fleetwood Town's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goalkeeper Carlos Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rick Shaw. The supporters of Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ booed when Fleetwood Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fleetwood Town's Cristian Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 刘飞翔 in the 23rd minute of play. Carlos Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Geldof in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute 刘飞翔 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mateo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Geldof in the 31st minute of play forced Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goalkeeper Carlos Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goal looked a bit too open when Bob Geldof came free, but Carlos Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, 刘飞翔 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Mateo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Carlos Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, 刘飞翔 notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Fleetwood Town's Cristian Mateo. Cristian Mateo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 93rd minute Rick Shaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
