The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 4 minutes into the game, one of Estudiantes de La Plata:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mário Súľovský stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Hori's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Lucio Hori who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Mário Súľovský when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anton Mălăele got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Carmine Di Paola. Gualterio Libertad hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Olivar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Mário Súľovský made a huge save. Cridas FC's Herminio Otsando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Marko in the 25th minute of play. Estudiantes de La Plata's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florencio Ponc in the 26th minute. The corner led Estudiantes de La Plata's Florencio Ponc to fire away a dangerous shot which Herminio Otsando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mário Súľovský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Sánchez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mário Súľovský quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Hori in the 33rd minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Mário Súľovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Hori came free, but Mário Súľovský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Filomeno Marko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Otsando. Cridas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno Marko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 40thth minute of the game Lucio Hori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes de La Plata's Mário Súľovský was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florentino Rodas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mário Súľovský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mário Súľovský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Hori in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucio Hori to make the kick off. Lucio Hori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cridas FC's Herminio Otsando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Rodas in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Lucio Hori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cridas FC's Lucio Hori in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de La Plata's goalie prevented a goal. Mário Súľovský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Cridas FC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Urdaspal. Filomeno Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Súľovský having to interfere. Lucio Hori kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de La Plata's zone, Lucio Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Súľovský came out of the goal and Lucio Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cridas FC booed when Estudiantes de La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estudiantes de La Plata's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
