Mário Súľovský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 刘飞翔, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 10 minutes into the game, 刘飞翔 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mário Súľovský was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute, 刘飞翔 made a precise shot to the right of Mário Súľovský. Estudiantes de La Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 刘飞翔 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mário Súľovský came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s 刘飞翔. But to his dismay, 刘飞翔 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 刘飞翔 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Breogan charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Breogan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amancio Breogan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Estudiantes de La Plata defense, 刘飞翔 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário Súľovský. The Estudiantes de La Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário Súľovský should have stopped the shot. Anton Mălăele made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carmine Di Paola immediately put the ball in play. Mário Súľovský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 刘飞翔 in the 41st minute of play. If İrfan Okyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that 刘飞翔's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mário Súľovský was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 刘飞翔 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mário Súľovský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Estudiantes de La Plata players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ were winning 0-5.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 刘飞翔 in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Súľovský prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If 刘飞翔 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, 刘飞翔 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 刘飞翔's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mário Súľovský read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Mário Súľovský came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s 刘飞翔. But to his dismay, 刘飞翔 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. A collision led to Estudiantes de La Plata getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Anton Mălăele hit a great ball. İrfan Okyay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mário Súľovský firmly grabbed it by the left post. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Domenico Marongiu in the 66th minute. The corner led Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Domenico Marongiu to fire away a dangerous shot which Mário Súľovský despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th minute, Estudiantes de La Plata's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 刘飞翔 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Carlos Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Viviano in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Mário Súľovský had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Llanos. 刘飞翔 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mário Súľovský having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 刘飞翔 in the 88th minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Mário Súľovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Súľovský didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Llanos went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Carlos Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Rodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Estudiantes de La Plata throughout the match.
