When Waldemar Frænkel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. After 40 played minutes 20 de Março FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Frænkel. Bob Geldof struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Renan Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fleetwood Town.

The wind increased when Absalon Berritsgård made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Oğuzer Saye cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Renan Schmidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Esteve Barto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Eusko came free, but Renan Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fleetwood Town reached it. In the 64th minute, Bob Geldof made a precise shot to the right of Renan Schmidt. 20 de Março FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oğuzer Saye in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Schmidt saved 20 de Março FC from getting behind. A collision led to 20 de Março FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Zé Simão hit a great ball. Renan Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzer Saye in the 75th minute of the match. Renan Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Geldof, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by 20 de Março FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chukwualuka Okaka Chuka was slow to take the kick. During this time Fleetwood Town's players had a chance to rest.
