Jorrin Pla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Rudy in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Gleba came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barros Guau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Gustau having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Navarro in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorrin Pla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pablo Aimar hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Barros Guau might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Gustau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barros Guau ran back to his position shaking his head. If Feliciano Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jan Gleba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorrin Pla made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paradela in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute José Paradela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorrin Pla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
