Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zamir Osja in the 38th minute of play. If Zamir Osja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
