Nikos Sterpis started the match with the kick off. The corner led to Supremacy Catania FC's Filippo Bozzelli getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With 8 minutes on the clock, Zachariasz Rasimowicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. With a little luck, Supremacy Catania FC's Bai Kun De got control of the ball when Nikos Sterpis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as German Sarracino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bai Kun De. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikos Sterpis in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bai Kun De saved Supremacy Catania FC from getting behind. Supremacy Catania FC's Bai Kun De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Sterpis in the 23rd minute of play. Thomas Kallergis kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. German Sarracino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bai Kun De having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Nikos Sterpis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Kun De saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bai Kun De saved Supremacy Catania FC from getting behind. Bai Kun De made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Sterpis in the 41st minute. Bai Kun De showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Mastronardi in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akis Sarafis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bai Kun De took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bai Kun De made an important save on a dangerous shot by German Sarracino in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute of the game Dennis Baggio made a throw-in which Bilge Kağan Samih played forward. In the 54th match minute, Supremacy Catania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Pereira to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Michelangelo Merganiotis made a precise shot to the right of Bai Kun De. Supremacy Catania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. AFC Ajax's Markos Seremetidis was substituted for Nikos Sterpis. AFC Ajax's Aureo Morera was substituted for German Sarracino. In the 67th minute Markos Seremetidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Kun De saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Supremacy Catania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michelangelo Merganiotis came free, but Bai Kun De reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Ajax's Lambis Zacharatos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bai Kun De in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 84 minutes into the match, Supremacy Catania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michelangelo Merganiotis came free, but Bai Kun De reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bai Kun De came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Ajax's Markos Seremetidis. But to his dismay, Markos Seremetidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some careless play in the Supremacy Catania FC defense, Markos Seremetidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bai Kun De. The Supremacy Catania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bai Kun De should have stopped the shot. Bai Kun De showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markos Seremetidis in the 94th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Supremacy Catania FC defense, Markos Seremetidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bai Kun De. The Supremacy Catania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bai Kun De should have stopped the shot.
