A nice corner shot did that Wincent Drugi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ray Clemence quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 11 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Jajecznica came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Victorino Frederik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goral Zywiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Frederik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Clemence breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Goral Zywiec's Ray Clemence threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Frederik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Goral Zywiec were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after PHOENIX SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wincent Drugi took the corner. Goral Zywiec's Wincent Drugi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ray Clemence in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Ray Clemence successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. PHOENIX SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Grzegorz Jajecznica scored to the left of an out of position Ray Clemence, making the score, 1-0. Michael Krawczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samai Asmawan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Lilcho Ilchov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicklas Barck. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Frederik in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samai Asmawan in the 31st minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goral Zywiec's Alfred Ewertowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ray Clemence in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 95thth minute of the game Alfred Ewertowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ray Clemence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Ewertowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ray Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Makomaski, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Goral Zywiec's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
