In the 2nd match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charl De Metser to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CİMBOM FC's Bumin Şahinter got a free kick in the 5th minute. The long shot by Quintino Carvalhais in the 6th minute really tested Samim Akbudun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Samim Akbudun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zigmantas Gimbutas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Quintino Carvalhais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samim Akbudun. CİMBOM FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quintino Carvalhais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, CİMBOM FC's Efe Yalavaç got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Zigmantas Gimbutas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samim Akbudun was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of CİMBOM FC's Samim Akbudun. Samim Akbudun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Braga's André Jordão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samim Akbudun. That made the score 5-0 after 27 minutes of play. Samim Akbudun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Xun Lei, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bumin Şahinter kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Quintino Carvalhais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 36th minute of play forced CİMBOM FC's goalkeeper Samim Akbudun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samim Akbudun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zigmantas Gimbutas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 38 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintino Carvalhais got free with Samim Akbudun in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efe Yalavaç during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Efe Yalavaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zigmantas Gimbutas had several of the CİMBOM FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 8-0 score and a disappointed Samim Akbudun as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zigmantas Gimbutas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samim Akbudun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Jordão in the 53rd minute of play forced CİMBOM FC's goalkeeper Samim Akbudun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Quintino Carvalhais made a precise shot to the right of Samim Akbudun. CİMBOM FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Samim Akbudun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Cieri in the 76th minute of play. Samim Akbudun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samim Akbudun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. 88 minutes into the game, SC Braga's Antonio Cieri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
