Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Adán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. AFC FUSION were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after SC Braga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Beckham took the corner. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonio Adán in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 23 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Abilio came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe got control of the ball when Quintino Carvalhais tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Valdomiro Lira hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Alberto Malheiro got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quintino Carvalhais. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 40th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SC Braga defense, Lino Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Adán. The SC Braga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Adán should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute of the game Pipis Dilberis made a throw-in which André Jordão played forward. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

51 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Carvalhais came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Rios scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Adán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Jordão in the 62nd minute of play. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintino Carvalhais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Braga made a substitution. Geraldo Lucas replaced André Jordão. Alberto Malheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Mattsson came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Malheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Malheiro. Guido Txindoki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Antonio Adán made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Valdomiro Lira got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 95th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Roberto Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Braga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC FUSION's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC FUSION.
