Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Råda BK's Aron Drake started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quintino Carvalhais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Valrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Råda BK's Sven Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match SC Braga got a corner. Råda BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Quintino Carvalhais ran over to the corner to take the kick. SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven Valrot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Råda BK's Sven Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 13th minute of play. Zigmantas Gimbutas took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Valrot. Sven Valrot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Quintino Carvalhais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Valrot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sven Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes Råda BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Quintino Carvalhais who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Råda BK's goalie and right to Alberto Malheiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Råda BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sven Valrot came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Lu Xun Lei. But to his dismay, Lu Xun Lei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Quintino Carvalhais took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Valrot. Sven Valrot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Sven Valrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Jordão, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Valrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven Valrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quintino Carvalhais went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Zigmantas Gimbutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sven Valrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Jordão in the 36th minute of the match. Sven Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Råda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Carvalhais came free, but Sven Valrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Jordão in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Valrot saved Råda BK from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Quintino Carvalhais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Valrot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Sven Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

After a defensive mix-up in Råda BK's zone, Quintino Carvalhais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Valrot came out of the goal and Quintino Carvalhais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Quintino Carvalhais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the game, Zigmantas Gimbutas lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Sven Valrot. In the 56th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson was substituted for Zigmantas Gimbutas. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Antonio Cieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Cieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Valrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Råda BK defense, Stig-Åke Mattsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Valrot. The Råda BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Valrot should have stopped the shot. When Antonio Cieri came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Cieri couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Råda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Mattsson came free, but Sven Valrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 81 in the game by Antonio Cieri from a close distance when the talented Sven Valrot managed to make a qualified save. Råda BK's players were relieved. 83 minutes into the match, Råda BK's goalkeeper Sven Valrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Cieri. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Drake in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Antonio Cieri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Valrot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. In the 89th minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stig-Åke Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Åke Mattsson couldn't finish the play. Sven Valrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Cieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. With splendid footwork Stig-Åke Mattsson arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-14 by the left pole in the game's 95th minute. SC Braga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
