After 17 minutes Del Acuerdo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romário Ronaldo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Lamine Yambao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stefan Kalak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Teofil Narbut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Del Acuerdo's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofil Narbut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Del Acuerdo's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Ronaldo came free, but Stefan Kalak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Bellingham in the 25th minute of play forced Del Acuerdo's goalkeeper Stefan Kalak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube Atlético Mineiro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romário Ronaldo in the 26th minute. After 31 minutes Del Acuerdo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romário Ronaldo who took care of the corner kick. The throw-in from Ramón Negri in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Del Acuerdo's Fodil Foder. In the 44th minute, Luís Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofil Narbut to strike the kick off in the second half. Del Acuerdo's Silvano Ofelio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luís Alagoano, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Narbut in the 53rd minute of play. Stefan Kalak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Teofil Narbut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Mineiro's zone, Teofil Narbut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Carvalho came out of the goal and Teofil Narbut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Bellingham in the 62nd minute of play forced Del Acuerdo's goalkeeper Stefan Kalak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Kalak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Bellingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofil Narbut took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Carvalho. José Maria Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Teofil Narbut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Carvalho having to make a save. A collision led to Clube Atlético Mineiro getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Romário Ronaldo hit a great ball. 81 minutes in the game George Singson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ramón Negri. In the 85th minute, Teofil Narbut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 89th minute Teofil Narbut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Del Acuerdo's Stefan Kalak got control of the ball when Jude Bellingham tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 minutes, Luís Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Mineiro and the Del Acuerdo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Clube Atlético Mineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Del Acuerdo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
