When Lamine Yambao fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Mineiro's protests and gave Lamine Yambao a yellow card for diving instead. Lamine Yambao kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Jude Bellingham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Aquiles Ellande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. But to his dismay, Lamine Yambao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Gerli in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Atlético Mineiro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alonzo Gartxot was slow to take the kick. During this time VAMO ARRIBA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alonzo Gartxot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho did a great save.
