An unexpectedly hard shot by Manos Oustabasidis in the 3rd minute of play forced Real Matrei FC's goalkeeper Christian Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Valerios Voutsas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Karlsson. After 12 minutes of play, Saronida FC's Valerios Voutsas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Karlsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Real Matrei FC's Christian Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerios Voutsas in the 14th minute of play. If Valerios Voutsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valerios Voutsas in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Karl-Heinz Schneider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saronida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Karl-Heinz Schneider made a precise shot to the right of Christian Karlsson. Real Matrei FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 26 minutes into the match, Real Matrei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valerios Voutsas came free, but Christian Karlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Karlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valerios Voutsas's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Real Matrei FC's Christian Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerios Voutsas in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Valerios Voutsas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Karlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. If Valerios Voutsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerios Voutsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valerios Voutsas in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Karlsson saved Real Matrei FC from getting behind. The supporters of Saronida FC booed when Real Matrei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tycho Scolander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valerios Voutsas scored 0-7 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Karlsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valerios Voutsas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Karlsson having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valerios Voutsas was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Real Matrei FC defense, Stefanos Rigopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Karlsson. The Real Matrei FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Karlsson should have stopped the shot. In the 54thth minute of the game Valerios Voutsas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Matrei FC's Christian Karlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saronida FC's Huang Tian Yun was substituted for Valerios Voutsas. Saronida FC's Nikiforos Fragis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carter Suriani in the 59 minute of the game. Christian Karlsson was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Karl-Heinz Schneider capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Heinz Schneider really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Huang Tian Yun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Christian Karlsson made a huge save. Huang Tian Yun kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 69thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Real Matrei FC's keeper Christian Karlsson was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 73rd minute, Huang Tian Yun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Karlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. After 76 played minutes Real Matrei FC got a freekick which was hit by Tycho Scolander. In the 79th minute, Washington Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huang Tian Yun had several of the Real Matrei FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Christian Karlsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 90th minute, Huang Tian Yun made a precise shot to the right of Christian Karlsson. Real Matrei FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. In the 93rd minute, Huang Tian Yun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Karlsson. The goal made the score 0-14.
