In the 7th minute Karl-Heinz Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Karmel Gian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saronida FC and the IKS Norrköping players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Saronida FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Karmel Gian hit a great ball. Emanuel Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Saronida FC's Valerios Voutsas got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Tobias Ekeberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Laurențiu Susara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Sverker Skröder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurențiu Susara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Hedström in the 37th minute of the match. A very nice done corner allowed Egil Siöberg to score against Emanuel Sigfridsson in IKS Norrköping's goal. 1-1 after 41 minutes. Emanuel Sigfridsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Heinz Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Saronida FC made a substitution. Jonas Pacheco replaced Stefanos Rigopoulos. Saronida FC's Savas Ravousis was substituted for Manos Oustabasidis. Henry Vennersten made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcus Hedström. IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 62nd minute of play. Saronida FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after IKS Norrköping's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl-Heinz Schneider took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of IKS Norrköping's goalie and right to Egil Siöberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. IKS Norrköping's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Emanuel Sigfridsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Siöberg in the 88th minute of play. IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Tian Yun in the 91st minute of play. IKS Norrköping's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Saronida FC had won, even though IKS Norrköping had held more of the ball.
