To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper Emanuel Sigfridsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Laredo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Bruse during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, IKS Norrköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Bruse to maneuver through the defense. Jan Motyka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Sigfridsson having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Marcus Hedström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IKS Norrköping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Laredo got free with Emanuel Sigfridsson in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in IKS Norrköping's zone, Gaspar Laredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Sigfridsson came out of the goal and Gaspar Laredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Sigfridsson made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jan Motyka sent off a good shot on target. Myroslav Matviychuk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Sigfridsson. IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olexiy Stus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Hedström, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Emanuel Sigfridsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Emanuel Sigfridsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Motyka in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Ekeberg in the 52nd minute of play forced Juventus FC's goalkeeper Olexiy Stus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juventus FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henry Vennersten was slow to take the kick. During this time IKS Norrköping's players had a chance to rest. When Danilo J.J. fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus FC's protests and gave Danilo J.J. a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of IKS Norrköping booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo J.J. didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus FC's goalkeeper Olexiy Stus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tobias Ekeberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, IKS Norrköping's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Laredo came free, but Emanuel Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the IKS Norrköping defense, Myroslav Matviychuk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Sigfridsson. The IKS Norrköping fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Sigfridsson should have stopped the shot. Tobias Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Olexiy Stus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IKS Norrköping's Yu Jing Bin was substituted for Tobias Ekeberg. Juventus FC's Olexiy Stus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Jing Bin in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Juventus FC had won after a very even match.
