Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Moreno to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Jerca got free with Staffan Eckegren in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. G A I S made a substitution. Zavior Moiselo replaced Herman Biörkman. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Dorin Jerca took a quick shot and it went in 5-4 without a chance for Staffan Eckegren to make any attempt to save it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Zaldua couldn't finish the play. fc priben's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
