Freddy Tilens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Lukaku in the 20th minute of the match. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Munhoz in the 23rd minute of play. Casper Jans made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Axel Davus sent off a good shot on target. Freddy Tilens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Le Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Paal-Tervant's Yücel Yamaç managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Qu Hong Liang in the 33 minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Creemers came free, but Freddy Tilens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Cristiano Lukaku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Matinette's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Lukaku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Tilens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Racing Matinette's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Axel Davus scored to the left of an out of position Casper Jans, making the score, 2-1. Racing Matinette's Ivar Axelsson was substituted for Cristiano Lukaku. In the 47thth minute of the game Ivar Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Davus made a kick off. Casper Jans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Davus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute of the match KFC Paal-Tervant got a corner. Racing Matinette's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yücel Yamaç ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jacq de Neutere almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Racing Matinette's Casper Jans did a great save. Axel Davus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Jans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Racing Matinette getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Matthew Van Cauwenbergh hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Alan Creemers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Tilens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Davus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Jans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Axel Davus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Freddy Tilens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Creemers in the 73rd minute. Ivar Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Freddy Tilens made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Charles Volckaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Racing Matinette defense, Axel Davus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Jans. The Racing Matinette fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Jans should have stopped the shot. Freddy Tilens made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ivar Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Axelsson in the 90th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KFC Paal-Tervant were victorious despite being under pressure from Racing Matinette for much of the match.
