Byron Tanner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Emerson during the 17th minute. Byron Tanner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute, Andy Cole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brannik's goalkeeper Byron Tanner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andy Cole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andy Cole took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Byron Tanner. Byron Tanner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The Brannik players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Floresta Negra FC were winning 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Cole stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Andy Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Tanner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brannik's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Andy Cole scored to the left of an out of position Byron Tanner, making the score, 0-8. Byron Tanner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andy Cole's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The Floresta Negra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Byron Tanner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lokon Pøhl in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Brannik getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. İslam Hirfanlı hit a great ball. When Jerzy Zjawin came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Floresta Negra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Zjawin couldn't finish the play. Jardel Lewandowski took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Byron Tanner. Byron Tanner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Jardel Lewandowski in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Byron Tanner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Jardel Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Brannik fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Floresta Negra FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
