Byron Tanner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tião Alcântara in the 10th minute of the match. Apolo Opilano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Byron Tanner made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s Apolo Opilano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Byron Tanner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Yucatan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Opilano to maneuver through the defense. Byron Tanner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Higinio Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İslam Hirfanlı in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes Yucatan F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sidney Eldridge who took care of the corner kick. Sidney Eldridge made a great header on Brannik's corner, it was just that Yucatan F.C.'s Higinio Pueblo managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Yucatan F.C.'s Ruben Lluterio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Byron Tanner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Brannik's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Loiola came free, but Byron Tanner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
