The crowd rose to their feet as Henric Springfält kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timoteo Lucero. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Nastac came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Emmanuel Urruti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Orvar Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Akademia Maliqi defense, Clemente Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Lucero. The Akademia Maliqi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Lucero should have stopped the shot.
