In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play, Talleres's Andrzej Badanowski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Bäckström was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Badanowski in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Bäckström saved Basavilbaso FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Badanowski in the 27th minute of play forced Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Badanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. But to his dismay, Alfredo Tab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 41 minutes into the match, Andrzej Badanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orvar Bäckström. Basavilbaso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrzej Badanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Talleres's Izydor Bugajski was substituted for Perico Pérez. Talleres's Sergiu Bulencea was substituted for Lukita Modrić. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrzej Badanowski made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Badanowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Bäckström was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Talleres's Andrzej Badanowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orvar Bäckström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 minutes Basavilbaso FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Martínez who took care of the corner kick. 王竞耀 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Rubio in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Basavilbaso FC defense, Andrzej Badanowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orvar Bäckström. The Basavilbaso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orvar Bäckström should have stopped the shot. Orvar Bäckström came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres's Andrzej Badanowski. But to his dismay, Andrzej Badanowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. If Josef Tunberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrzej Badanowski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 93rd playminute. Andrzej Badanowski in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orvar Bäckström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Talleres played a much better game than Basavilbaso FC and deserved their victory. The Basavilbaso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
