The audience was convinced that Han Hui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 王竞耀 was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Florian Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Badanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Calamuchita's zone, Andrzej Badanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Kicia came out of the goal and Andrzej Badanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrzej Badanowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Badanowski came free, but Florian Kicia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Michael Jähnigen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 王竞耀. Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Jähnigen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 73rd minute Han Hui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 王竞耀 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talleres's 王竞耀 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Perrando in the 74th minute of play. Andrzej Badanowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Kicia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes C.A. Calamuchita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Martínez who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Calamuchita's zone, Andrzej Badanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Kicia came out of the goal and Andrzej Badanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The C.A. Calamuchita supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Talleres's performance. The match ended with a win for Talleres.
