After some careless play in the Revenge defense, Oliver-James Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gijs ter Averst. The Revenge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gijs ter Averst should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giotis Michailidis in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gijs ter Averst saved Revenge from getting behind. When Someliéri's Giotis Michailidis in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Revenge's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Argi Villar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Someliéri's supporters rose to their feet, but Argi Villar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gijs ter Averst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 minutes of play, Someliéri's Giotis Michailidis made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gijs ter Averst was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gijs ter Averst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver-James Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Oliver-James Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gijs ter Averst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Revenge's Gijs ter Averst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver-James Gol in the 39th minute of play. Gijs ter Averst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Laurendi in the 40th minute of the match. The Someliéri fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Someliéri's Giotis Michailidis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Giotis Michailidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gijs ter Averst was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Someliéri were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giotis Michailidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giotis Michailidis couldn't finish the play. Tibor Slaninka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gijs ter Averst having to interfere. Gijs ter Averst made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Oliver-James Gol sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argi Villar in the 68th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giotis Michailidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gijs ter Averst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tibor Slaninka got free with Gijs ter Averst in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Argi Villar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Someliéri played a much better game than Revenge and deserved their victory. The Revenge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
