The referee showed Oliver-James Gol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Someliéri's Oliver-James Gol got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Enekoitz in the 14th minute of play forced Someliéri's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Larry Ferrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvin van der Saar was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Argi Villar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ged Nightingale made a huge save. Larry Ferrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin van der Saar having to interfere. Grzegorz Piechna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edvin van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guy Hogg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Someliéri's Giotis Michailidis in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arrows Academy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Someliéri the free kick. After 37 played minutes Arrows Academy FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesús Solano. Oliver-James Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ged Nightingale made a huge save. In the 39th minute Larry Ferrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Larry Ferrell in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvin van der Saar saved Someliéri from getting behind. After 41 played minutes Someliéri got a freekick which was hit by Giotis Michailidis. After 42 played minutes, Arrows Academy FC's Wen Jie Ting shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arrows Academy FC reached it. When Arrows Academy FC's Larry Ferrell in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Someliéri's goalie prevented a goal. Oliver-James Gol, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The wind increased when Giotis Michailidis made the kick off in the second half. Ged Nightingale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver-James Gol's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 52 minutes, Oliver-James Gol made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Grzegorz Piechna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Someliéri's Edvin van der Saar got control of the ball when Fabricio Enekoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Ferrell in the 65th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Larry Ferrell put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edvin van der Saar. Larry Ferrell in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edvin van der Saar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Argi Villar came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Someliéri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argi Villar couldn't finish the play. Wen Jie Ting kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Oliver-James Gol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ged Nightingale skillfully saved the ball. Grzegorz Piechna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvin van der Saar having to make a save. Someliéri's Edvin van der Saar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Someliéri from getting a goal against them.
