After some careless play in the Templars FC defense, Jairo Malheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Courtois. The Templars FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Courtois should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Malheiro came free, but André Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Malheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes in the game Ritchie Engelborgh did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Márk Kovács. Joakim Vennerlund got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ernst Skog.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Malheiro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lawrence Buontempo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Templars FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciudad Tao FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Lawrence Buontempo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Staffan Apelqvist hit a great ball. The supporters of Ciudad Tao FC booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staffan Apelqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Staffan Apelqvist in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evander Zabel saved Ciudad Tao FC from getting behind. Evander Zabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márk Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Quaade, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Templars FC made a substitution. Adelino Marques replaced Ziya Onur Muzaffer. Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut was substituted for Márk Kovács. Birol Dalayer made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joakim Vennerlund immediately put the ball in play.
