The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gunnar Lidberg. Gunnar Lidberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Sammut. When Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Cesar Domingues in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Templars FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Domingues in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Courtois saved Templars FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Ritchie Engelborgh got a free kick in the 21st minute. Per-Arne Åström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mörknäs Electric Vikings's zone, Jonathan Sammut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Lidberg came out of the goal and Jonathan Sammut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Domingues in the 40th minute of the match. Ziya Onur Muzaffer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Lidberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan Sammut could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Gunnar Lidberg however easily saved by the left post. Jack Nicholson got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Benedict Cumberbatch. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jonathan Sammut made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jonathan Sammut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunnar Lidberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cesar Domingues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. André Courtois came out and tried to block the shot, but Cesar Domingues slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 56th minute. Templars FC made a substitution. Márk Kovács replaced Jonathan Sammut. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Jack Ekenberg was substituted for Cesar Domingues. Templars FC's Adelino Marques was substituted for Ziya Onur Muzaffer. Templars FC's André Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mörknäs Electric Vikings getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sverker Lundqvist hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Márk Kovács managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márk Kovács was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Márk Kovács hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A hard shot 84 in the game by Jack Ekenberg from a close distance when the talented André Courtois managed to make a qualified save. Templars FC's players were relieved. Gunnar Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márk Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Ekenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Courtois having to make a save. In the 88th minute Jack Ekenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Ekenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but André Courtois made a huge save. Dragan Ninković kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Apelqvist. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Templars FC had played much better football throughout.
