Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pentti Ojala got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Thilo Heß cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Waut Van Der Meeren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waut Van Der Meeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki in the 7th minute of play. Tiger's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nestor Cruz 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pentti Ojala in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes Anversa Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Américo Baehr who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Anversa Club getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nicu Vornicu hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Anversa Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Américo Baehr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Baehr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waut Van Der Meeren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute Pentti Ojala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Van Der Meeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pentti Ojala in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waut Van Der Meeren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waut Van Der Meeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pentti Ojala, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Pentti Ojala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waut Van Der Meeren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 27th minute, Thilo Heß left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Thilo Heß recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 32nd minute of play forced Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thilo Heß took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waut Van Der Meeren. Waut Van Der Meeren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 38 minutes into the match, Tiger's goalkeeper Josef Witlatschil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orvar Malmberg. In the 42nd minute Iwo Sawicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Van Der Meeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pentti Ojala in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waut Van Der Meeren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Anversa Club's zone, Iwo Sawicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waut Van Der Meeren came out of the goal and Iwo Sawicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Anversa Club booed when Tiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Siltavirta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The throw-in from Winarto Songgonau in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tiger's Folko Rebe. Waut Van Der Meeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thilo Heß, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pentti Ojala. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwo Sawicki got free with Waut Van Der Meeren in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Thilo Heß kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waut Van Der Meeren. That made the score 1-5 in the 60 minute of play. Tiger's Ingo Ustorf was substituted for Rudolf Speed. In the 69thth minute of the game Pentti Ojala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Pentti Ojala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pentti Ojala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Tiger's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Vornicu came free, but Josef Witlatschil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Tiger were awarded a corner. Américo Baehr went to the cornerflag to take it. When Winarto Songgonau came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Anversa Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Winarto Songgonau couldn't finish the play. Tiger's Marten Weise was substituted for Pentti Ojala. Marten Weise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marten Weise in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waut Van Der Meeren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tiger's Marten Weise in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anversa Club's goalie prevented a goal.
