The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when Anversa Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 minutes of play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Zygmunt Dunajski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waut Van Der Meeren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marian Văduvescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Vornicu in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, FC Steaua Pildesti's Terry Doyle seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Terry Doyle the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Steaua Pildesti protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Terry Doyle had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Anversa Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mickael De Winter in the 25th minute. Mickael De Winter made a great header on Anversa Club's corner, it was just that FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Anversa Club's Roman Procházka got a free kick in the 27th minute. Zygmunt Dunajski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Paulescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Waut Van Der Meeren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Paulescu in the 69th minute of play forced Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Filip Paulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Waut Van Der Meeren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren got control of the ball when Filip Paulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Fința kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Marian Văduvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Vornicu in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Stere to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Deșliu to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rdth minute of the game Nicolae Barbu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anversa Club's zone, Filip Paulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waut Van Der Meeren came out of the goal and Filip Paulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
