Vicente Echterhoff's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ovidijus Merkelis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Geležinis Vilkas from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Cezary Wejta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidijus Merkelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetlozar Platikanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Tokarczyk in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Deimantas Satkus made the kick off in the second half. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Tokarczyk in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Zukowski in the 55th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Franciszek Zukowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Artur Kostrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deimantas Satkus in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Iwaszko came free, but Ovidijus Merkelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Konstanty Mockiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Igor Bryk was substituted for Tomas Termander. Konstanty Mockiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidijus Merkelis having to interfere. Ovidijus Merkelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Zukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala got a freekick which was hit by Igor Bryk. Ovidijus Merkelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franciszek Zukowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Franciszek Zukowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidijus Merkelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Franciszek Zukowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 93rd minute of the game Jurand Iwaszko made a throw-in which Konstanty Mockiewicz played forward.
