In the 6th minute of the match, Camron Rhodes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ariel Balboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tony Cheeseman hit a great ball. When U. de Tarapacá's Orfilio Orbañanos in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leicester Lions's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Will Patton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Balboa. Will Patton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ariel Balboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şükür Hagi's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orfilio Orbañanos in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grant Blacknell saved Leicester Lions from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şükür Hagi got free with Ariel Balboa in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orfilio Orbañanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Blacknell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orfilio Orbañanos ran back to his position shaking his head. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Orfilio Orbañanos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell. Grant Blacknell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ariel Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camron Rhodes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a little luck, U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa got control of the ball when Şükür Hagi tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orfilio Orbañanos to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Şükür Hagi came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 52 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Sebastien Clifford. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükür Hagi in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orfilio Orbañanos got free with Grant Blacknell in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60thth minute of the game Will Patton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Denzil Howarth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Barcena in the 65th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leicester Lions's Patryk Plučinský was substituted for Alexander Cheetham. Ariel Balboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camron Rhodes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Domingo Barcena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When U. de Tarapacá's Domingo Barcena in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camron Rhodes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ariel Balboa. U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute, Domingo Barcena made a precise shot to the right of Grant Blacknell. Leicester Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U. de Tarapacá had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
