Sunday Niedziela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Matorin's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The Palestine fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Palestine's Anísio Matorin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emalia Olkusz's Sunday Niedziela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Matorin in the 18th minute of play. Erhun Bilek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Receanu in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Matorin in the 29th minute of play forced Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Sunday Niedziela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Emalia Olkusz got a freekick which was hit by Innar Laaneloog. Anísio Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sunday Niedziela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Svanberg in the 38th minute of play forced Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Sunday Niedziela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Marcin Zworski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhun Bilek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emalia Olkusz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olaf Rawa in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Emalia Olkusz's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Svanberg came free, but Sunday Niedziela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Palestine's Karl-Åke Svanberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sunday Niedziela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Macit Serter's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sunday Niedziela firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 95th minute, Karl-Åke Svanberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sunday Niedziela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.
