The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Prospero Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Marchlewicz in the 7th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Vila Zumbi's corner Carlos Fernando Schmidt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Prospero Shepherd quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Federigo came free, but Antoni Beninda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Marchlewicz in the 14th minute of play forced QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Prospero Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Beninda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Isadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th match minute, Vila Zumbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Bertin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when QUASAR AZULGRANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maciej Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute, Maciej Marchlewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Antoni Beninda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Gartxot in the 39th minute of the match. Maciej Marchlewicz took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prospero Shepherd. Prospero Shepherd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Prospero Shepherd acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 52nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carlos Fernando Schmidt. Prospero Shepherd made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Maciej Marchlewicz sent off a good shot on target. Melquiades Laurgain hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Melquiades Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of QUASAR AZULGRANA booed when Vila Zumbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Tofan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kang Fan Xiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Prospero Shepherd successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kang Fan Xiang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. QUASAR AZULGRANA made a substitution. Anier Gaspard replaced Marco Federigo. With a little luck, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Prospero Shepherd got control of the ball when Maciej Marchlewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Prospero Shepherd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mannie Calle kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Prospero Shepherd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdi Kadıoğlu. 96 minutes into the game, Mannie Calle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. QUASAR AZULGRANA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Zumbi the free kick.
