EBK's Marcelo Quexada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Gartxot in the 6th minute of play. Prospero Shepherd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusko Zubicoeta went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Omero in the 13th minute of play forced QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Prospero Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Humberto Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Marco Federigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Quexada was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The supporters of EBK booed when QUASAR AZULGRANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Constancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Marco Federigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EBK's Marcelo Quexada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Eusko Zubicoeta came free, but Prospero Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Quexada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Federigo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. QUASAR AZULGRANA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justino Constancio in the 29th minute. A nice corner shot did that Justino Constancio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Quexada quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Federigo in the 30th minute of play forced EBK's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, EBK's Cornelio Omero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prospero Shepherd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Eriberto Lizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Quexada having to interfere. Marcelo Quexada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Federigo in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Marcelo Quexada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Marcelo Quexada made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Marco Federigo sent off a good shot on target. Marco Federigo in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Quexada, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to EBK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lisandro Martínez de Aldunate hit a great ball. Marco Federigo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 59 played minutes QUASAR AZULGRANA got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Gartxot. Prospero Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Omero in the 61st minute of play. Prospero Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Omero, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a little luck, EBK's Marcelo Quexada got control of the ball when Marco Federigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Humberto Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Quexada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Shepherd having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Marco Federigo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcelo Quexada. Humberto Gartxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusko Zubicoeta in the 89th minute of the match. If Marco Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to QUASAR AZULGRANA getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Anier Gaspard hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
