In the 3rd match minute, Jazz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Salerno to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Bolognesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Madruga, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Marco Jazz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Gervásio Sousa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Jazz got free with Gervásio Sousa in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Cino hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Andrea Bolognesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Madruga in the 11th minute of play. Jazz's Andrea Bolognesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palmiro Bettencourt in the 13th minute of play. Marco Jazz in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gervásio Sousa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andrea Bolognesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus Van Mellart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Palmiro Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Bolognesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Jazz struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gervásio Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jazz. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Palmiro Bettencourt to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervásio Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrea Bolognesi made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Palmiro Bettencourt sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Jazz's goalkeeper Andrea Bolognesi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Palmiro Bettencourt. In the 63rd minute of the match, Palmiro Bettencourt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andrea Bolognesi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Gervásio Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Marco Jazz sped through Atlético Micaelense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gervásio Sousa. Atlético Micaelense's Geraldo Madureira was substituted for Vítor Resende. Jazz's Aldo Pani was substituted for Mai Yang Yan. Andrea Bolognesi made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Palmiro Bettencourt sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Atlético Micaelense's Andrea Bolognesi threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Madruga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atlético Micaelense's Gervásio Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Preda in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Jazz got a corner. Atlético Micaelense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joshua Hart ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jazz's Andrea Bolognesi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Jazz from getting a goal against them. Nae Preda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gervásio Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
