The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute, Delmar Lapurdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Anastasio Eguerdi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cafu Couto. Gregorio Urbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Anastasio Eguerdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, DeportivoIndependienteMDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. SC CORINGÃO's Zé Paulo do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Lapurdi in the 37th minute of play. After 44 played minutes SC CORINGÃO got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Freire. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esquipula Bouzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Delmar Lapurdi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Zé Paulo do Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's 楚烨磊 got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, SC CORINGÃO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Varela to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Lapurdi got free with Zé Paulo do Nascimento in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Nicolas Demario made a precise shot to the right of Zé Paulo do Nascimento. SC CORINGÃO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Zé Paulo do Nascimento didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Delmar Lapurdi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Delmar Lapurdi sped through SC CORINGÃO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Paulo do Nascimento. Cafu Couto hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Delmar Lapurdi could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Zé Paulo do Nascimento however easily saved by the left post. SC CORINGÃO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Nicolas Demario scored to the left of an out of position Zé Paulo do Nascimento, making the score, 0-9. Emerson Varela's late challenge caught a DeportivoIndependienteMDP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emerson Varela helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes SC CORINGÃO got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Varela. DeportivoIndependienteMDP played a much better game than SC CORINGÃO and deserved their victory. The SC CORINGÃO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
