In the 12th minute, Du Jian Chen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mora CAT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A hard shot 17 in the game by Zsigmond Tímár from a close distance when the talented Marc-André Grifoll managed to make a qualified save. La Mora CAT's players were relieved. In the 18th minute Zsigmond Tímár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc-André Grifoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Géza Tótfalusi hit a great ball. Jose Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cristinel Tomulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Tomulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Coutinho went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goal looked a bit too open when Zsigmond Tímár came free, but Marc-André Grifoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsigmond Tímár was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Green Zombies's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zsigmond Tímár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Marc-André Grifoll made a huge save. A collision led to La Mora CAT getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jose Policarpio hit a great ball. Zsigmond Tímár did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Marc-André Grifoll 42 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zsigmond Tímár in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc-André Grifoll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Joerie De Cat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Zombies's Cristinel Tomulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Green Zombies from getting a goal against them. Walter Carter charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Carter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Walter Carter. Ronaldinho Gaucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Tomulescu having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, La Mora CAT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Suy to maneuver through the defense. Green Zombies made a substitution. The audience was convinced that Mihály Hidegkúti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marc-André Grifoll was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Mora CAT walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
