The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roch Cieslak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Tomaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Olgierd Kaczanka kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Brunatni Bełchatów's Sonny Ahlerot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Brunatni Bełchatów from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Brunatni Bełchatów's Sonny Ahlerot got control of the ball when Sever Patriciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Sonny Ahlerot managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when FC Luck's Sever Patriciu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute, Claudiu Creteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sever Patriciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Patriciu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sonny Ahlerot firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Luck's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vasile Târcă in the 23rd minute. Narcis Voinescu made a great header on FC Luck's corner, it was just that Brunatni Bełchatów's Sonny Ahlerot managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Tomaka in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roch Cieslak saved FC Luck from getting behind. Sonny Ahlerot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Logofătu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brunatni Bełchatów's Stanislaw Smuskiewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roch Cieslak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper Sonny Ahlerot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Tomaka came free, but Roch Cieslak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Narcis Voinescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Luck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sever Patriciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Zachary Piechocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Narcis Voinescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Luck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Patriciu in the 58th minute of play forced Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper Sonny Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Pavel Logofătu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Ahlerot. Brunatni Bełchatów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Logofătu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Brunatni Bełchatów made a substitution. Amir Hardjasoemantri replaced Waclaw Sitko. 65 minutes into the game, Zachary Piechocki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roch Cieslak. Zachary Piechocki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 71st minute Sever Patriciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Ahlerot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brunatni Bełchatów fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Brunatni Bełchatów made a substitution. Dobromir Mentis replaced Korneliusz Opat. Sonny Ahlerot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Logofătu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Sonny Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Patriciu in the 84th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Dobromir Mentis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roch Cieslak. Dobromir Mentis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Gwidon Tomaka struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Roch Cieslak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brunatni Bełchatów. After a rather tough play, Brunatni Bełchatów's Marian Warka got a free kick in the 96th minute.
