In the 58th minute of the match, Aristides Favila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michael Hedström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Karterouliotis in the 70th minute of play forced Antapoca FC's goalkeeper Leon Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AEK S.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcin Baszczyński in the 72nd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Petros Karterouliotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
