Jan Basaik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ale Glowacz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Santiago Cañizares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the match, Foguera's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ale Glowacz. Allande Soto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Villa in the 24th minute of play forced KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute David Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Basaik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
