The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Dorinel Munteanu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 6 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Mihuț. After recieving a nice pass, Köping's Eddie Viklund tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Luca Păun got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Ţintă in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens Bohlin saved Köping from getting behind. Köping's Jens Bohlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Köping from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Viklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Alex Vrânceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Bohlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Brander in the 23rd minute of play. Dorinel Munteanu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when Köping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurendi Varandalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Vrânceanu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Jens Bohlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scorpions -MM-. Dorinel Munteanu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Fabian Mihuț kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Augustin Vergulescu's late challenge caught a Köping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Vergulescu helped the player get up and apologised. Augustin Vergulescu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Ţintă to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Fabian Mihuț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scorpions -MM-'s Octav Vătăşel was substituted for Dan Tinu. Fabian Mihuț hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Eddie Viklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Viklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eddie Viklund came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Köping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddie Viklund couldn't finish the play. Jens Bohlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Vătăşel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Brander in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Scorpions -MM-'s zone, Adrian Brander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Zenga came out of the goal and Adrian Brander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Viklund came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Kvalfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Walter Zenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Lidström in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Ţintă in the 85th minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Jens Bohlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens Bohlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Vătăşel in the 86th minute of the match. The Scorpions -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Scorpions -MM-'s Alex Vrânceanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adrian Brander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Zenga having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Scorpions -MM- could leave the field as winners, despite Köping having more of the ball for most of the match.
