Emil Szpakowski made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kemal Bakırhan immediately put the ball in play. 34 minutes into the match, Moorefield AFC's goalkeeper Teodoro Arizmendi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lovro Majer. Gabrijel Jovanovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darius Parish, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Giovanni van Bronckhorst hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonko Urban in the 45th minute of play forced Moorefield AFC's goalkeeper Teodoro Arizmendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Moorefield AFC booed when Lipovljani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Vince didn't get a good kick on the ball.
