The shot was a little too simple and Walter Zenga could save by the left post. 6 minutes into the game, Urbano Vimaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Walter Zenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheng Qian Qiang in the 10th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Dan Tinu got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomás Barral got free with Walter Zenga in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga got control of the ball when Thomás Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Thomás Barral could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Walter Zenga however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th minute Cheng Qian Qiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Zenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Barral in the 30th minute of play. Marcelo Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Vrânceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Thomás Barral made a precise shot to the right of Walter Zenga. Scorpions -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Vimaro came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Rejunte de perros's Urbano Vimaro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Zenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheng Qian Qiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomás Barral made a kick off. Walter Zenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomás Barral's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Barral came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rejunte de perros's Urbano Vimaro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Barral in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octav Vătăşel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Marcelo Armani made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Barral came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Thomás Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomás Barral in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Zenga saved Scorpions -MM- from getting behind. Walter Zenga came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Rejunte de perros's Thomás Barral. But to his dismay, Thomás Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Rejunte de perros made a substitution. Rogelio Funes Mori replaced Thomás Barral. Rejunte de perros made a substitution. Serge Grandidier replaced Urbano Vimaro. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Funes Mori in the 80th minute of the match. Rogelio Funes Mori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Walter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Funes Mori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Funes Mori took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Zenga. Walter Zenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Funes Mori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Zenga was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Rogelio Funes Mori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rogelio Funes Mori scored 7-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Zenga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rejunte de perros fully deserved thier win.
