An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Bannister in the 3rd minute of play forced Marília AC's goalkeeper Jacinto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Endrick de Souza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marília AC's Jacinto Loureiro. Jacinto Loureiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rayland FC's Joel Bertol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Rayland FC from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Hernandez in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akın Seccac in the 14th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Joel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Akın Seccac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayland FC's Joel Bertol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Bertol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renatinho Tavares in the 16th minute. Marília AC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Rayland FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abel Barros took the corner. After some careless play in the Rayland FC defense, Eriberto Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Bertol. The Rayland FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Bertol should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Sidor in the 26th minute of play forced Marília AC's goalkeeper Jacinto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Teodoro Hernandez succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Renatinho Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Joel Bertol made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatinho Tavares got free with Joel Bertol in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Marília AC's Renatinho Tavares, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Marília AC. Rayland FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renatinho Tavares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renatinho Tavares made a kick off. After some careless play in the Rayland FC defense, Renatinho Tavares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Bertol. The Rayland FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Bertol should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Renatinho Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Joel Bertol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Roger Bannister fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rayland FC's protests and gave Roger Bannister a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Roger Bannister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marília AC's Olavo Lima was substituted for Betinho Souto. After a rather tough play, Rayland FC's Roger Bannister got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Renatinho Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marília AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abel Barros in the 74th minute. Lúcio Joinvilense tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Joel Bertol. An unnecessary self made goal, 6-2 in the 74th minute. If Renatinho Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marília AC's Delfim de Andrade was substituted for Renatinho Tavares. After 83 minutes of play, Marília AC's Delfim de Andrade made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Bertol was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Bai Feng Ting left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marília AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. 89 minutes into the match, Delfim de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Bertol. Rayland FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim de Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Tomás Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marília AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Bertol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marília AC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rayland FC for a fine match.
