Mathias Varela made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fragleses's Ermegildo Rexino. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 played minutes Fragleses got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Cardozo. 63 minutes into the game, Fragleses's Zlatko Ibrahimović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 66 minutes into the match, Wiktor Gomolka dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Eduardo Galvão, 0-4. The Fragleses players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
