Iacob Povară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Figueiredo in the 14th minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Vacib Bartu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Iosif Găman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vacib Bartu. Los Tatangelos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iosif Găman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 44 minutes into the match, Silviu Latarețu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Los Tatangelos's Vacib Bartu. Vacib Bartu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Dan Petrescu put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Tatangelos:s goal. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA:s Iacob Povară showed great skill when he stopped Jorge Figueiredo:s penalty. Los Tatangelos were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Göktürk Bozlak took the corner. The corner led Los Tatangelos's Göktürk Bozlak to fire away a dangerous shot which Iacob Povară despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Adérito Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Povară having to interfere. Gürbüz Hendekli kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Los Tatangelos's Vacib Bartu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Los Tatangelos from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Silviu Latarețu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vacib Bartu. That made the score 0-3 after 58 minutes of play. When F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Silviu Latarețu in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched F.C CLUJ MEDICINA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
